local missouri tuners...? Im located in pretty much the center of the state, about 45 min. north of Columbia. I am just curious of who does most of the tuning ......

Yes, I believe they do, Dynojet. I know what he used to charge, but that might have changed since the last time we spoke. You'll have to talk to him about it. I have his cell if ya like?

tuning P2 Motorsports call pauly he tunes all my cars. He has a dynojet chasis dyno charges 400 for a complete tune.

+1 McCord is the man! He tuned my car and it runs amazing. He occasionally works with GM and Ford on things, and he has had a lot of articles in engine builder's magazine. He recently helped piece together and tune a twin turbo GTO that sounded pretty mild, put down 1000 lb. ft., and got 30 mpg. He also tuned my friend's car that went 12.30 with 4.10's, longtubes, stock stall, and the tune.

How many different people have tuned your car? If someone else tuned it and then he tuned it and it ran better, then you can say he is better than the 1st party in your case. I have had experience with another tuner besides McCord (not going to name names in public, already had the tuner battle on stl-speed) and the McCord tune was much better.
