I don't know if I miss my Trans Am yet
I sold my bolt on and cammed trans am about 6 months ago. Sometimes I really miss it. Yet, im happy that i now get 20+ mpg and i have awd and a turbo! I dont know whether i'm going to go back to domestic yet. Who knows! Anyways I got a WRX that was stock and i've done quite a few thing to it so far, it makes it fun. But here she is.

For a DD I'm sure it is a lot of fun, I've always liked the WRX. That thing is probably going t o be a blast in the winter. I bet it is quick though - have fun with it!
It just wouldn't be enough for me during the warm months though. Perfect combo would be the summer car I've got right now and one of those for a DD!

I can't do an AWD car, is just no fun.. no drama. Stab the throttle and then if the clutch doesn't slip or it doesn't bog it will accelerate quickly but they fall off quickly as the driveline loss takes over.
RWD You Stab the throttle the tires scream and struggle for grip and the car squirms around a bit and feather the throttle and steer to keep it straight as the chassis catches up to the tires and starts to really pull and keeps pulling. I just love it!
Its not as economical as people think to buy a replacement car that gets better mileage. I was looking into replacing my Z28 for a car better on gas but going from my 15mpg yearly average in my Z28 to one that gets 20-25mpg yearly average would only save around $500-1000 a year. not worth it at all to me because I'd have a whole new car to learn and Mod and probably have a small loan on top of that to pay off for the new more gas friendly car.
