Im prob going with my cousins, hopefully some of my friends too if they don't work. Look for a sunset orange WS6, and a Collectors edition yellow WS6. Im not runing because I don't have a helmet but my cousin probably will be. Prob see ya there.

Techs been tough this year.
The past few years I wouldnt even have to open my hood sometimes and I ran in the low 11s over 20 times and never was even told to slow down or anything.
This year they made my brother take out his nitrous bottle out so he couldnt spray because he didnt have a fire jacket.
Last week they wouldnt let a friend run because his nitrous bottle was in the truck of the car completely seperate from the passenger compartment and the bottle didnt have a blow down tube.
I used to never have a problem, but this year they seem pretty tough...

Yeah thats me, hopefully I can get my buddies to come along too they got a 2000 pewter WS6, RT truck, and maybe my cousin with his stripper Z. Maybe will meet up and all go together, gime a call 715-1387, your taking the car right.

My car is 100% NHRA legal for my E.T. The only problem I see is my helmet. It is within the SFI date, but is for a bike. If they don't let me run, that's fine. I live literally two minutes away, so it's not like I will have to drive far for nothing if that's the case.
It is Snell and DOT approved. Helmets are good for ten years from the date, so mine is good until 2010. I will have a regular helmet soon, just looking to skate by this time.

I would love to hit up 66 this year at least once. I have not been there since the car was stock. What is required to go 11.50 these days? I have a DSL and helmet. Tech at Byron said I needed a 6pt and fire jacket. Not sure that is accurate. Won't make it this time as I am waiting on parts, but hope to hit you guys up later in the year.

11.49 and quicker you need a roll bar (5 point is okay), SFI Spec 16.1 harness/driver restraint, SFI 3.2A/1 jacket, (SFI 3.3/1 gloves if you are using n2o), flywheel and clutch meeting SFI Spec 1.1 or 1.2, and a flywheel shield meeting SFI Spec 6.1, 6.2, 6.3, or 9.1. I think that's it.
