Whoa! 
It looks real, but I can't imagine any Hat (except maybe a newbie 3rd Hat) knowingly going off like that with a camera in his face. One of my top five rules while there was no misbehaving when cameras were around. Looks like they might have been at the Night Infiltration Course... or whatever they're calling it now.
Around 1990, 60 Minutes (you know... the TV news show) showed up at PI to do a special on recruit training and DIs. They hung out with my platoon for three days. I think I read the SOP more during those three days than my entire time at school. I used my watch a lot too. You fellow DIs will know what I mean.
If you're on PI now... be smart. If you can be smart, be lucky.

What was so bad about that? Made me feel back like old days when I went through two years ago. It was kinda wierd though, when the recruit talked his voice and mouth moved at the same time, when the DI did it didn't match up just right. That's from a movie that's out though. I think it's call Ears Open Eyeballs Click or something like that.

HAHAHHA Ohh **** that is SSGT (Well he is a Gunny now) Sandercock. One of my friends just decided to join... and he got some DVD (I dunno when I joined all i got was some crappy vhs movie.) and that is footage from it.
Gunny sandercock is with 3/5 (has been for a few years now) he is a tough s.o.b just got back from iraq with him. What you saw on camera is him holding back, but he definitely takes care of his marines, just expects the best, even in the fleet.

That is right I forgot you are there in San Diego. Is he still SSgt Sandercock? Tell us the details. I know if that was on PI, at the very least he wouldnot be pushing plts anymore and most likely voided at the minimum. Not so much for the language but for the helmet smashing/pushing. As Marc says, no way in hell I got within even earshot of a camera if I could help it.
I guess he is a gunny now. as far as the language and helmet smashing well we actually stress recruits out in san diego, not just 24 hours a day of corps values like in PI lol!!!!

Kind of along the lines of video taping yourself having sex with soemone other than your wife or smoking crack. There is a possibility I could have done worse than that while a DI but since there is no longer a statue of limitations on allegations, you will never see specific examples from me.
