CAR sticker on windshield Am I the only one that thinks your a douche bag if you have CAR stickers on your windshield or back glass? Why not just get a sticker made for your whole ribbon stack
? I think I'm going to get a National Defense ribbon made and put that on mine...

Im glad that the AF is doing away with the base stickers...Not only do they look rediculous, but they easily identify a military members car for people that dislike military members (Bad OPSEC)

i think its retarded, like your the only one who has been awarded it! the CMH i might say is ok. The other thing is the little rank stickers or idiots who feel the need to put their rank as a personalized license plate.

speaking of license plates, I'll tell you one plate that's pretty f'n sweet. I seen this old dude that had one that said CHOSIN FEW on it. Those dudes were hard. Not I SAW AN IED SO GIVE ME A CAR....

i have a FL USMC license plate. i like it. I did however put a Sgt sticker on my front windshield when i was driving cross country a couple months ago. The last time i did this i didnt have the plate or sticker and got pulled over 4 times. This time i didnt get pulled ONCE, as soon as cops saw my license or my decal they backed away or passed. Once i got back to base i took that Sgt sticker off. I only have the base sticker (required) now, i hate crap on cars.

most of those guys that put CARs on their windshield are the guys that normally don't get the oportunity to get one. they all go it on a blanket for OIF/OEF. most of them didn't even fire one round. as far as the rank on the windshield, i know it used to be required in the MArine Corps that SNCOs and officers put it on their for id purposes at the front gate. it's usually up to the installation/unit commander if he want's it or not. but thats old school Marine Corps.

lol i dont see the point in having those stickers, hell i hate wearing any kind of medals or ribbons, lol i got that from my grandfather, he got a medal for something, and when we got home he took it off and threw it in the bushes ill never forget that day

ah thanks for clearing that up i was completely lost....ya i know what you are talking about though see it all the time in the army that and putting what branch ie field artillery or infantry which no one cares about
