Warrior Pay?
Any one hear about this? It was in Army Times. The Army (I don't know if the other services are in on it or not) proposed to congress to give a special pay the reward soldiers for multiple deployments. Does anyone know if this went through or not? I'm about to go on my second and could use the extra cash.
Also, if we are authorized up to 1500 in hostile fire/hardship duty pay, why do we still only recieve 225?
I don't feel bad for asking for more. My last deplyoment to iraq I was busy as a bee and earned every dollar.

i'm nine months into my second tour. 13 months the first one and i have to do 15 this time, so 28 months in two tours. lol. ive heard of the warrior pay, but i dont know the status. just because we are authorized more combat pay doesnt mean they have to give it to us. i'm just hoping i get the extra thousand a month for being here over a year this time. as for the 35-40 grand not being enough, get promoted. lol.
