Terrible Drag Racing Wreck Here's some video I shot at the '09 Street Machine Shootout down in the Ozarks this September. One of the cars lost control, and from what happened, I can only guess that the driver lost consciousnesswith his foot pressed down on the gas pedal because he hit the second wall at WOT.
I heard the driver is doing fine and he's working on a new project. Crazy video for sure!

Sounded like the thottle stuck open after he hit the wall the first time and threw him into the other side. You can see the shift light come on like he went wide open again right before he hit the other wall. Either way that sucks

Damn is right!!!! Good thing hes ok its all about the safty equipment!!!! I know a guy who went 9.22 at 148 car got loos on him crossed the opposite lane and hit the wall head on kinda like this wreck he walked away... just thought id put my .o2 in on the importance of safety
