That srt-4 was making some good power. I'd guess big 50 turbo upgrade along with full exhaust.

im guessing he wasnt on a 50 shot or slicks. and he was probably right at the end, if he could launch or not spin(couldnt tell) it would have been dead even. Im guessing its a 13 second car as you raced it but good kill, autos are nice to have for digs on the street

kinda sounds like your shift points are off or the tranny is slipping, the first to second the gear shift bogged noticeably when it dropped into 2nd and the 2nd to third sounded like it hesitated or tapped the rev limiter before shifting to 3rd.

I agree, that was one of my first thoughts. I heard the slow shifting. I would suggest buying a transgo stage II shift kit. I had really slo 2-3 shifts and sluggish 1-2. After the install, wow. Huge difference, hard shifts and i think you will notice a decent improvement. I have a 4l80e, but i know they make it for the 4l60. Nice kill!

i agree tranny sounds shitty like mine, time for a rebuild. Just go to a local performance shop and do the shift kit as said above and a decent stall and you will see a big difference. I got a buddy here in az that ran a 12.9 with stock tranny and stall and got the stage 2 kit and a 3200 stall i believe and he said its a world of difference. Im plannin on the same thing in the near future. Good run though.

I agree with these guys.

Get yourself a shift kit and a stall.

This is what an automatic shifting sounds like when it's stalled and has a shift kit.

Notice the lack of bullshit between shifts. It does wonders when racing anything from a dig or a roll.

i dont' think you need a rebuild.. just sounds like stock gear's.. and stock shift points... Get some 3.73's a stall, and a tune.. and hold on!
