twin turbo viper B*TCH SLAPS DYNO hey guys this is my brothers twin turbo viper its a
GTSR block dry sump 530++cube twin turbo (built to be street drvien) 6 speed. has a AIR to AIR....no meth no nitrous all boost. (turbos capable of ~30psi)
ART in near austin did it
it maxed the dyno out, the video is from them turnning it down to try to get it to hook and make it more "drivable" the video run was at about 21psi

supras can do 1500+rwhp on a 3.4 (if having the 3.4 stroker) with 1 big turbo..the viper has over 8l (i think im not good at engine sizes that much) and 2 turbos and only makin 200 more rwhp full tilt
its impressive but other cars can do it

I used to work two shops down from A.R.T., it was pretty cool hearing cars on the dyno all day. I cant recall any that maxed out the dyno while I was working there though, lol.
What are your brothers plans for it? Any 1/4 or standing mile times in the future?

Beyond the
part, the reliability of these VVT motors at extreme HP is the real issue. There's a very good reason big inch motors dominate...

since your comparing apples to oranges. lets see.....if the supra engine is sooooo great WHY dont they use it in the 24 hrs of lemans
ill tell you why they go kabooom after they make 10,000,000 hp for all of 30 seconds
better yet why dont they use it in top fuel cars??
hmm or in the space shuttle....

That is just plain sick
Is the guy running the stock block? I'm assuming he's running forged crank, pistons, connecting rods, etc. Also what sort of cylinder heads is he running?
Also, I find the guy talking smack hilarious. Where is his 1500whp Supra?
