09 ACR Viper or 08 v8 audi r8
Im really torn and just wanted your opinion.
Ive owned the following.
Supercharged v6 camaro 220 rwhp
Head and cam c5 380 rwhp
Supercharged nsx 335 rwhp
Bolt on gen2 viper 445 rwhp
Current cammed and bolt on gen 3 viper 555 rwhp
Im now decideing between a new never titled 09 acr viper or a 08 v8 audi r8.
The viper is ovbious. 550 rwhp stock and hands down one of the fastest road raceing cars ever made. In your face styling and well you know whats up.
The 2008 r8 in v8 trim even though 4 years old is still 100k. While I can get the never titled acr for just 90k. But the more I learn of these audi r8s the more I like them.
Sure 430 hp and 3600 pounds isnt fast. Your talking 12.8 @110 mph. Laughable for a 130k car.
The v10 model is 3750 pounds and 525 hp with a more respectable 11.8 @ 122 mph. But at 120k for a used 2009 v10 its to expensive for me.
The v8 r8 with its awd and r tronic paddle shifter plus gorgous interior with the engine viewed beneath the rear glass is just little by little drawing me away from the american beaste.
Just interested in your opinions. I realize they couldnt be any differant.

Damn Brother! For that kind of money, I would be looking at a slightly used ZR1, or a GTR. But if your only two choices were the Viper or the R8, it would be Viper hands down. Since you've had two Vipers previously, I can see why you are leaning towards the R8.

Another vote for a GT-R or ZR1 at that price. But if for some reason those two aren't to be considered, another nod for the Viper. No way would I settle for an Audi R8 V8 when the V10 is just a little more expensive but a way better car.

Killemall as much as I know you, with the amount you like to race I would recommend the Viper. Now if you are driving the car often and really don't care about going fast anymore, get the R8. It is so much nicer and cleaner. My buddy has a V10 R8 GT. The car is clean as hell but even with a tune it was still slower than my tune only 09 GT-R.

can i add an option? its in your price range new or used.. its a rossion Q1. depending on what you want to use it for (track or street) it seems like a badass car. yes its a v6 but its a twin turbo ecoboost? with 450 hp and you might possible be able to get it higher. and its made here in florida
