Default LS1 tv table Pics!

This is a little project ive been working on this winter in my free time. Its a aluminum ls1 block from my car that i turned into a little tv stand for my room. Put some led's in the cam bore. Enjoy

thats awesome!! i was thinking about doin the same thing when i had my junk engine... but cash was good too

Looks good, i wouldve just painted the pistons chrome or something for looks

Yea i just painted the pistons the same silver as the block was painted

I've been wanting to do this for a while now.... still havent come across a cheap aluminum block. Def don't want to do an iron block lol.

There's also the intake/exhaust valve toothbrush holder, cam lamp, and if you really wanna be ballin, the transmission sink

I think a bare ls1 block only weighs 70-80 lbs or so, so 4 of them holding the block doesn't seem to crazy. Imagine how much weight it would take to flatten/crush one standing like that.

Add some camshaft lamps for the complete look! I like it, would be perfect in the Man Cave - will definitely be looking into this for that part of my shop!

Not sure exactly what he used, but if you look around the housewares/furniture type section at walmart/wherever they sell little round felt-like pads for stuff like that. also have them in a hard rubber/plastic
