I don't know if it was directly power related. We will all know soon enough when I tear it apart.
But ya if you can't afford a new engine dont go nuts with your car.

Damn that sucks at least you got a few miles out of it but, I'm sure you were hoping for many more!
I have a few questions for you. How many miles have you been beating that 4l65e at 8-900+hp? I ask because I have a rpm LVL 6 RPM trans and was nervous about throwing more then 700rwhp at it, but maybe it can take it?
And 2nd what does your fuel system consist of? I have been trying to decide what to do, but I didn't want to go away from stock lines or rails just yet.
Anyway good luck with the build I will be keeping up with it!

Ya for sure. A new video is coming soon with the engine taken apart and I will show you guys the official diagnosis.
I was hoping to go further but I can't be mad. I really beat on this setup for a long time and didn't have to fix much of anything.
I trans was built in 2010. By the end of 2013 after 3 years of 750-900whp it finally started to slip going 2-3. But only at the track with sticky tires at 20psi boost.I actually got busy with having kids and didnt fix it until 2016. I still drove the car about 3k miles a year. It wasn't a catastrophic failure by any means. Still beat on it all the time on the highway and everything.

Rpm from what ive seen is like Finishline where I had my built. Its a quality place that puts out some of the best. I wouldn't worry especially with all the updates that have come out after 2010. Like my current version level 7 is way stronger.
