I believe it was closer to $36k U.S. when that aired but is closer to $38k U.S. now.

honda engine supercharged okaaaayyy, cool idea except rather than use a small honda engine on such an abstract vehicle, perhaps a nice v8 would have been the better choice like mentioned...and supercharged

I honestly think an engine w/ any torque downlow would be useless in a car that light....
I think the fact that the 4 banger peaks pretty high makes it more manageable....
its funny though, watchin that vid the first thing i thought of was we need to put an ls1 in one of those things...

Who rolled the Z06 display chassis? Look at the mangled rear hoop in the last pic .
A 4.8 LS truck motor with a mild cam would rock in the Atom if you could mount it transverse and find a tranny to take the abuse. Although it would be a wee bit *** heavy. The usual longitudinal mount with the Porshce transaxle would not fit back there.

Any V-8 would probably be too bulky and have too much torque for that little pseudo-go-cart.
What about a compact V-6? How big is the 3.5L V6 used in the 350Z? Bone stock motor and throw a medium sized turbo on there .
