exactly, its all power to ratio that matter. You can have 300 hp on a camaro, and 300 hp on a civic, but the civic will smoke him cuz of the weight advantage.

well then its time to put ur Fbods on some diets then eh

both cars had 2 passengers... i think the fbod owner said with him in the car w/ all the other crap on the car his car weighs in around 4,000-4,100 lbs

it was a good run. 2nd run is sorta mis-leading cuz he let off after i panned the camera foward...but the civic was also spinning thru 3rd (205-50-15 falken azenis) so he didnt really get to lay into it until 4th gear

the civic def makes more than 320whp tho...

i dont like imports all that much but that little car can pull. Smoked that ls1. I do wonder though how they would both do from a dig and not a roll. Any thoughts on that?

slick to slick would be pretty close.. remember he makes 500/560 but its also 4000+ w/ a driver.. whereas this civic even with full interior, ac, the spare and all that other crap that ppl usually take out weighs in w/ driver around 2600 so..

1/8 mile the camaro would prolly take the civ... 1/4 .. well u saw what happens when the civic hits top of 3rd and into 4th lol..

Yeah I have a though on that, the Civic would've gotten pummeled from an actual drag race from a stop. You can make all the horsepower you want but most of tin can owners spend no money on traction/suspension, so they are stuck to racing from highway speeds

did u totally miss what I wrote, or do u like being ignorant?

how do u know what the civic has at all other than whats listed in the vid? do u personally know that the civic doesnt have the suspension to go from a stop?

like i said, any high powered car wont be able to hook on regular old street tires. and i do mean street tires.. he's not on a drag radial or an et street type tire.. so what do u expect.

slick to slick would still be a good race... try reading the thread

Looks like another Honda owner crying about suspension and traction. You do realize it isn't the F-body guys fault that you don't spend money for suspension or good tires?

thats a low 10 second honda against a mid to high 11 second camaro. Nothing to be ashamed of for the camaro. I mean I've seen videos of same setup intergras and other hatchbacks that have spanked twin turbo vettes and vipers on the top end.
