I think it's a 383 with heads and cam, as well as nitrous...Angel did mention he would sell the car for the right price...if you are interested in tuning, performance packages, nitrous, etc...feel free to contact them (ls1cantu)...they're actually working on a website, should have it up and running pretty soon...

They're located in Edinburg, Tx. on north 281 next to the Texaco gas station...It's at the same place where I-69 truck wash is...pm ls1cantu, he can give you more information...

i don't think the track was even open, the weather was pretty bad. It was a good thing that you didn't go, and besides i think it was gonna be import night...i don't care very much about them, i mean, it's incredible the amount of power they're able to milk out of those 4-bangers (my respects)...but i prefer the low rumbling sound of a big block or a modded small block...
