Figured I'd post this over here too and see what everyone thinks.

Color editing with photo filters

I noticed that..it's an honor, thanks

All the editing is strictly photoshop, done with photo filters (not from the filter drop down menu) and some marquee tool action

Im looking at the different photoshops to d/l a trial of, what should I get?

-photoshop CS3
-photoshop pro CS2
-photoshop7.0

I have no idea what any of those are.

CS3 if you have the resources, CS2 has some nice bells and whistles however 7 will get the brunt of it done. They're all pretty much the same just different little addons and small GUI differences

thanks! Yeah im not gona get too deep into editing, I just like the filters and some text and the black border that you guys use.

If you want me to show you a couple of things let me know, back on topic, that white background in back of that camaro makes for an excellent shot...You definitely have quite the eye for a superb photo opportunity!

The filter drop down menu is damn near useless for anything professional, aside from a few things in there. Smart sharpen isn't too bad, but generally if you have to use it, the photo is bad. Start out by going into Image, Adjustments. Even play around with Mode, Grayscale. Once in grayscale, you can bitmap your image and halftone it, or a few other things. These are just some basics, but you'll have fun.
