Default My first attempt at HDR Images

I'm trying to learn HDR, so if someone has some pointers for me, I'm all ears

I can't give ya any help on HDR. Mine haven't come out all that well, all just got deleted Keep at it. Check out www.photocamel.com, they have an entire HDR section with tutorials and lots of helpful folks.

The two images are kinda opposite each other.

Second one isn't an HDR. I suggest you look up the definition of HDR before going any father.

The first one is nice.

the second one is just the color temp i believe. The first one looks real good but i would make it less blueish.

No, there is no details in the shadows on the second one. That's what HDR is all about, detail in the highlights AND the shadows. Nothing blown out and nothing underexposed.

Like in the first one.

WAY too many people think all those oversaturated, high contrast images are HDRs, and they aren't.

I have noticed that with a reflective black car (like mine, and the truck) you end up with a chrome look to the paint.
Which looks too fake in my opinion.
I have played around with the shadow clipping and seemed to find a happy medium.
