Exclamation Beware LS1gummi (Jacoby Betts)

Okay so here is the thing with this dude. He list a 4L80 transmission being taken out of a 02 HD. I purchased the item from him and when I got it decided to have it verified that it was a working transmission. Before anything could be done to it the mechanic told me that this was not a 02 HD 4L80 he said it is something older. From then I set out to find out what year it was or how I could verify it for myself (second opinion) and was told on here that is was definitely a older model from 1991-96. This is no where near what I was supposed to receive, so just for verification purposes again I went to GM and asked if they would ever put one of those transmissions into a 02. They said definitely not, they would have to customize everything to get it to work in there (lines, big plug etc etc) and as we know GM does not do that sort of work. So I asked Jacoby Betts aka LS1gummi for a refund of my money because he said he pulled this straight from a 02 HD (which this transmission is neither). And instead he went into defense mode and said that I attempted to take a sledgehammer to it (link to what he thinks I was talking about https://ls1tech.com/forums/automatic...4l80-ears.html and to see on here of it being verified being a older model here https://ls1tech.com/forums/automatic...nce-4l80s.html). Now you can see why this is upsetting. Here is also the link to the F/S thread https://ls1tech.com/forums/lsx-parts...ssion-f-s.html
if you want to see the PM's sent after I asked for the refund just PM me and I will forward them.
