Budget has alot to do with most people's head selection, and we offer a full line-up to suit most any budget. From our most economical Stage 1 LS6 heads to the aftermarket casting 215's, we've got a little of everything. Right in the middle, the PRC Stage 2.5 LS6's typically add about 40hp or so with that cam and your bolt-ons.

Give us a call sometime and we can get you set up with a set of heads that will fit your goals best!

As Matt said ^^^ either get some stage 2.5 5.3s, or stage 1 LS6s depending on your budget. If no budget then get some PRC 215s, or AFR 205s.

Heck if you just want mid 400 HP just pick up a set of 243's and have them PP!
From the advise I have gotten on here from some people who know there **** thats a great way to go unless you plan on going higher then mid 400's. Send them To A.I. they will PP you some nice HP!

Your car seems a little down on power as is now. Heads and a better tune could really wake it up. If I were you I'd go with some Stage II 5.3l heads. Boost your compression a little and with a CNC port they will flow great. Its not uncommon to make 430ish with that setup while still using a LS6 intake and stock TB.

I definitly cannot install the heads myself. How much do heads typically cost to install? Im buying on a budget so I think im gonna get the PRC 5.3L stage 2.5. Im looking forward to getting these because my best run at the track is 12.08 and these will put me well into the 11s.

If you're in the 12.0's then these heads matched with a good tune should put you deep in the 11's. Depending on where you go to have your heads installed, the price will vary. I have a couple of local mechanics around me that will do a head install for around $200. If you go to a larger, more established shop, expect to pay more.

You are not down on power if you are running 12.0's.

And if anybody is stupid enough to do a head swap for $200 they don't know WTF they are doing and you need to find somebody else. $600-$700 is the going rate in reputable shops....

You will need to get your tune tweaked too...

Clearly he didn't know what he was doing because all the cars he has touched are running fine and making good power. Definitely a sign that all those people should have gone elsewhere. Don't insult his technical intelligence because he works cheaper than a big shop.

FYI, the guy I am referring to doesn't have a day job and he works out of a garage in a backyard. There is no overhead and no taxes to pay.

He also street tunes LS1's for $150. Proven dyno and track numbers to back up those cars too, but I guess since he does it cheaper than others, he doesn't know WTF he is doing
