Default LS1, high mileage question

hey all! - getting back into an LS1 it appears, I am looking at buying a 99 T/A with 140,000 miles... any problems anyone foresee with this thing being dependable as a driver for awhile till I can build a new motor? as long as it runs good oil pressure, etc.?

thanks in advance for any help!

Bill

thank you!
I realize there's no "for sure's" but it's nice to hear that they do go well, I love the body on these cars and the interior... now for the modding to begin, LOL.

If proper maintenance has been done along the way, these motors can do well long-term.

Bought mine with 150,000 on the clock. No piston slap, knocking, etc.. runs like a raped ape. If it hasn't had routine maintenance done then do a full tune up on it.
