Default 2000 lq4 swap to a 98 trans am

I know that year 1999 n 2000 the lq4 comes with something in the flywhell or in the back of the flywheel a spacer? Wat I need to do so it can fit to my tranny need help do I need to change something from the motor? Thanks in advance..

If you have one of the motors that has the longer crank you are going to want to switch out the crank for a standard length LS crank. As far as I know there is no way to make the longer cranks work with either the auto or manuals.

so it's not worth buying 2000 lq4? Cuz there selling one to me for 800 bucks

I think it depends how much it would cost you to get the right crank in there. The crank has a flange on the back that adds about .400" to the crank, so it is basically impossible to try and use it with any of the car transmissions.
