DD with 11 sec Potential Help
I recently rebuilt my ls1 in my 98 Z28 with stock components, I am wondering how the mods I have selected to purchase are sounding to you guys.
I will have...
stock gears with yank ss3200 or 3600 stall
pacesetter longtubes
y-pipe with dumped super 10 flowmaster or borla xr-1
ls6 intake
tune
dr's
I need help with the cam selection but I do not want to fly cut the pistons and want a sorta choppy idle (112 lsa)
I have researched some of Texas Speed's products like the 224r, 228r, 224 from thunder racing, and the torquer v2...
I will be using a 100-125 shot too..
Any suggestions? Thanks

Maybe some suspension is the only other thing I can think of, should be a fun DD. Also, go with the 3600 stall, I always hear people saying they wish they had gone "bigger" but never really the opposite.

Sounds like a good list. Like John ^^ said, get your TB ported, Lid, good CAI like SSRA, FTRA, or Chris1313, Trans Cooler to go with the stall (extend the life of your tranny).
For a cam, the 228R is very popular. The 112 will be a little choppy like you want, and will have great driveability with a good dyno tune. Make sure to get an LS2 timing chain and ported LS6 oil pump to go with it as well as pushrods. Good 40hp with just the cam.
May want to see if you can pick up a used UD pulley to install while you are there doing the cam.
After all that see how you do at the track with those DR's. If you are having trouble getting out of the hole you will want to start thinking about suspension mods,
-Sub frame connectors
-Pan Hard Bar
-Torque Arm
-Lower Control arms with relocation brackets
-possibly even qa1's all around with 275lbs front springs and stock rear springs but depends on how your 60ft is.

get some good suspension parts so you can tune the chassis, and DRs with a 3600 stall.do at least the 228r with a 112 lsa.maybe look into a cold air intake (cai) system and a UD pulley also.
