Heads and intake?? Theres a set of CNC ported 241 heads on the classifieds. Comes with beehive springs and seals.($700) What kind of gains am i looking at? Also what kind of gains am i looking at with an ls6 intake? Is it worth the buy or go for something else? Looking to do cam after winter. Let me know your thoughts!

dont get unknown brand heads. PRC heads or AFR will net you some good gains. with those heads your looking at you will gian maybe 20. an ls6 intake maybe another 20. all this at the crank btw. honestly with just heads your not going to get blow you mind gains. but they are a step to that road.

I could give my "No joke, there I was..." story, but I'd make sure that I knew exactly where those heads were coming from. I don't think with that you'll net the gains that you are anticipating with those heads. There are a ton of threads for anyone that wants a set of good heads on a budget.

With the amount of work and cost in swapping heads why chance putting on something that may not give you any gains. Thats not to say that there aren't great deals on used heads remember you have to factor in the cost of having them gone over before you install them.
