Newbie here. I have the components to make a 383 c.i. 3.905 bore LS1, I was wondering if Victor jr down draft EFI is a better way to go vs. front entry BBK, LS2, F.a.s.t. etc. Are there advantages or dis. since have no manifold or TB yet. This motor is NOT for F body or Vette. Anybody?

Depends on what you are wanting to do, The Fast is more common on street strip cars, the Edelbrock is usually on big HP cars, thats the only place it really seems to be a better setup. I run the fast 92 on mine, It makes plenty of power, and idles great. either way you are gonna spend some money on intakes.
