Default First Mod!

Wasn't much, but !CAGS HAD to go. That bugged the living **** out of me. Did the Radio Shack version. Only a buck 0 seven, and worth every penny.
I know it wasn't much, but jeez barely a week and it drove me nuts.

Skip shift... when in first and it locks out 2nd and 3rd forcing you into 4th. Usually a PITA
Takes all of a few minutes. Hell if you come to the Denton 1/8th tomorrow I'll give ya what you need.

I haven't heard a maganaflow clip yet. I'm thinking corsa... I love the tips.

Probably go with a TSP clear lid, or MTI... (haven't decided, guess I'll have to find the lid war threads and go from there)

lol I got sick of my 88 IROC breaking down all the time, put a hole in the oil pan driving over a filler cap in the ground at 711 n bought myself an 01 WS6 T/A - before I bought the car I thought "yeah I need a skip shift eliminator" - drove the car n thought "nah its not that annoying" - within a week I found myself driving slower n experiencing it more often - I drove 50 miles to Titusville to Ecklers Camaro to buy a skipshift eliminator so I didnt hafta deal with it for another day!!

The first mod huh? But not the last mod I bet! lol

Cool Brandon, congrats, is the 427 next? j/k

Go ahead and do the free ram air mod now. Knock out all the free, or cheap stuff like TB bypass, then get you a lid and/or cat-back. You'll start having more fun modding it.

Peace,
Craig.

Crager, the lid is on the way.

I'll have to find the link for the free ram air.. or send it to me on aol..
I have the connection for the tb bypass from the truck but like said, i need to look at the freemods for the fbody. I forget if i need new hoses or not.

427 is a long ways away, unless Budweiser promotes me again in the next few months.. (dreaming)

Skip shift eliminator has been sittin in my room for like a week and a half... I think I'm gonna get a decent amount of stuff and just have a mod day!

Edit: Just checked the date on the first post.. DOH. If you're gonna spend the money on Corsa or Borla, why not put a little more out and get GMMG? Unless of course one of those two are your personal favs.

I had my skip shift eliminator kit for a month before I got my car.
