What tips for lm1?
Looking to get a loudmouth for an 01 base TA. Yeah some love it and some hate it. I don't plan on doing headers and need cats where I live. So the dual duals look small and the only other options look like 3.5 or 4 inchers. I can't find pics of the fours on a car anywhere. So which ones should I go with?
PS: I may eventually go with some corsa clones so resale value on these tips could go towards that. Haha

Well if I keep my cats it should keep the rasp down some right? If it gets too bad I could always borlamouth it. But anyone got any opinions on what tips to get?

4 is not all that big. if it were talking about a TA then id go quad tips. I have 4's on her right now and they are ok, but I want dual 3.5's.
heres a vid for reference.
they dont look like 4, but I measured them out of the box and sure enough.
these are the ones Id go with.

or similar. finding 4 inch duals is hard.

I've had my LM1 on for 2 years and I love it. I actually had the factory tips welded back on because I like the way they look.

Well I like the big corsa clones and may just start with those. I emailed marylandspeed and ws6store if they could split up the tips from the rest of the piping and take at least some off the price. Maryland said no even though they sell the tips (which is understandable as they kits probably come shrink-wrapped anyway) and ws6store didn't reply.
My real question was which tips should I get with the SLP kit. I have seen the dual-duals and they just look wimpy. Marylandspeed sells the 3.5's and the 4's for $71 a piece so if I could sell them for $75 or $100 for a pair I could get my corsa clones for a little more.
I couldn't find which one's you were talking about NC98Z. Link?

I have had long tubes with an off road y pipe to lm1 for a while now and I love it. Its very tame around town with a 6 speed. I can always keep it stock like quiet when I need to. It has rasp around 2300 but if you ease off the throttle a bit you can avoid it during normal driving. WOT sounds like a nascar I also have the 3.5 single tips. They look nice imo.
