Low Oil: ADD some oil j/k

Change oil: Hold the trip reset button for 12 seconds. Oil change light will blink letting you know that it has been reset.

If the CHANGE OIL light is on:
* Put the key in the ON position, but dont start the engine.
* Then (like Z28Venom said) Hold in the TRIP button until the CHANGE IOL light blinks.
(This should take 10 - 15 seconds)

The reason i reiterated the steps is that the key has to be in the on position with the engine off.

button is right next to ODO i think. I held it for almost a minute and nothing happened.
that light has been on for almost a year, what the hell am i doing wrong?

key is in the last position "up", just where it will crank if i move it any further.
i tried putting key in acc, no go either. I swear it used to work before.

the trip button, the odometer reset, the little stick like thingy pointing out of the guage cluster. should be right next to the odometer and trip meter. you push that in, like your gonna reset the trip meter, then just hold it (as in dont let go of it for about 15 seconds).

If these instructions dont work there is an alternative that involves pumping the gas pedal, but I dont know that one.

I've done that like 3 times already... For the CHANGE OIL just turn the key on(don't turn the car on) then step on the gas pedal 3 times. Turn the key off, wait a bit, then turn the car on. It's worked with me several times already.

theres another way to do it without resetting your odo.

turn the ignition to on, and pump the gas pedal as fast as you can in under 5 seconds, and the light will turn out

Both methods work. What also works is the wacky idea of just changing the oil.

Easiest method is to take a dump in the oil fill resevoir, just make sure no corn gets in there...could scuff a piston or spin a bearing.
