Yep, as I mentioned above as well, this is exactly correct. Often they are off by 100-200rpm or so.
Every single LS1 F-body left the factory with the above mentioned commanded idle speeds (650rpm P/N, 550rpm in gear for A4, 800rpm for M6). Unless your car has been custom tuned or has a vacuum leak/IAC issue, those are your actual idle speeds. You can't rely on the tach, you'd need a scan tool of some sort to see true idle rpm.

reading this thread from the beginning(again to verify what's been done/mods to the car),there's nothing to tune for yet. The stuff on the right side of the list still has to be acquired/installed.
even putting a 3600-4000 stall in doesn't DEMAND a tune, some like to tune after a stall to modify the shift extensions.
handheld tuners are for the most part worthless, although they've been improving the handheld tuners' capabilities lately.
97 corvette,98 f-bod LS1s' have a lot of peculiarities in the computer that are different from the 99-02 f-bod LS1s'.
Back when I bought a handheld for my 98,hypertech was the only one available because 98s' are so different from 99-02s'. the only things it's good for is changing rear end gear ratio and radiator cooling fans on/off presets.

On The Tree
A Frost tune is only another $100, and they work damn good. So no, don't buy some random bullshit that does nothing.

Well my radiator has a tiny leak
I've plugged one hole and now there's a little bit of fluid down on the plastic again
I can't really get a good look at where it actually is
On ebay a radiator is 60$ shipped brand new
Should I just do that and learn how to put it in
Or is there any stop leaks that don't damage your car in the long run
I can drive it and I lose maybe 4-8oz
Also the fluid in it isn't Orange dexcool. I believe it's some type of green. But the fluid is almost more so brown.
Now if I do a flush do I need to remove those block plugs to get all of the crap out?
What's my best route here
Any and all help is appreciated .
