Kooks Are Mounted!
I finally got them on last night and it is amazingly beautiful. The earsplitting sound of WOT brings me tears of joy . Thanks to all the guys who helped me out with questions on here, I couldnt have done it without LS1tech.
Okay now for a small problem, the car runs fine but my voltage is hovering low right at the red line, around 13. When I was putting my alternator on last night I noticed a small copper wire pulled free from that area. Ignored it to see if things worked without it and they do except for my voltage gauge. What should I do about this. The voltage seems to be steady at the red but nevertheless.
Also, when installing them I took of the heat shields on the bottom of the car, would it be okay to just leave these off or do I need them? THANKS AGAIN GUYS

I didn't have any issues with the shields except pass front I had to slightly tweak.I would put them back on.Glad they worked out for you but if you used the ORY you may go insane from the raspy flowmaster going bbbbbddddddddddaaaaaaaaaaaaaa between 2000-2500 rpm.I'm going with a magnaflow muffler and a 12" bullet.

Isn't that the wire that connects right to the top of the alternator? I accidentally ripped that wire out too because I didn't know that it was there. Do you remember disconnecting a small tab connector from the top of the alternator when you removed it?

I just figured it out, thank God for my brothers 02 V6 bird where the same exact alternator is mounted on top of the engine and easily viewable. You were right Venom it was from a the tab connector, I just didnt know there was one on the alternator therefore I didnt disconnect it, so the wire itself pulled free of the connector. Thanks man I owe you a beer.
