What to do first.
Newbie to this site and to LS1's in general. My car is an 00 Camaro SS with few mods: volant intake, slp loudmouth, and I have 1 3/4" TSP long tubes and ORY to install. I have about $2500 to spend on the car in the next couple of months and am looking for some guidance on what to do next. Not a DD, just a weekend fun car. Last summer I installed power stop brake kit all the way around and nitto 555r tires all the way around.
1. LS7 clutch (stock clutch feels like it's slipping).
2. Tick master cylinder or drill mod?
3. 4.10 gear
4. LS6 intake or Fast setup (future plans include ported 243's or aftermarket heads and cam swap.)
5. Torque arm, LCA and subframes.
I'm not tied to the $ amount, just what I feel comfortable spending right now. Thanks in advance.

Welcome to the forum and congrats your new and actually made a post listing your mods and all the pertinent info very rare lol my hats off to you .
If you have the $$ to spend on a 6 speed car build from the rear end forward then you wont get hit with a big surprise as with your planned mods you will be on borrowed time if you ever put a sticky tire on it.
I have an M6 car with an ls7 clutch ( bought it that way ) I would never advise going that way they are notorious for blocking you out of gear at high rpm's , are about the heaviest clutch you can find , and are self adjusting , they do hold well and are forgiving . Spend a few minutes in the manual transmission section of the forum there are what clutch should I buy threads started there about every day , read the existing threads there is plenty of info there to see what all the better clutch options are.

Horsepower mods are more fun but if your goal is 11's don't change your gear, change your rear. I would try and shoot for a monster clutch, tick master and new gm slave as well. You will be able to drive your car hard as fu@k after the drivetrain upgrades. LCAs and relocation brackets are great for eliminating wheel hop. The above will set you back about 3500 tho. You'd probably be in the mid 12s with your current mods

Thanks for all the advice. I had considered going with a 9" first. But then I made the mistake of watching aftermarket cam videos on YouTube and my mid was blown away by the aggressive sound.

Hah yes the fun go fast and sound good mods are always more tempting. Nothing wrong with that, but just remember if you'll be going to track, launching hard on sticky tires, etc....the stock rear will give way. It's just a matter of time.
If you look at the mods in my signature you'll see that I have the stock rear but with a trutrak upgrade. I'm close to 600 rwhp as well. Two things I try and never do though...launch super hard or wheel hop. That's what kills these 10 bolts. Keep that to a bare minimum and they can handle a lot of power
