Default questions about LT1 vette

I seem to come across a lot of guys just full of . This time I'm not sure though....a guy yesterday in a white LT1 Vette ('90+) claimed to be stock, then after I told him of my converter he claimed to have a 3800 stall. He did not know what the STR was, or who made it, said he ordered it from Jegs and it was ~$900. Think he told me what it cost about four times. Claimed to have run a 1.6X 60', 13.0 quarter at 104 on radials. I don't even think they were drag radials, not sure, though they were BFG's. A 1.6 60' on a 'stock' LT1 vette with a 3800 stall on radials just seems a slight bit too quick to me.....how much truth could possibly be hidden in that?

I had a 92' vette 6spd. Only mods on the car were a flowmaster cat-back, filter and modified air lid(the vette's had a restrictive air lid also) and I ran 13.80's trapping 104-105's with crappy 2.1+ 60'. I really liked that car, wish I would have kept it and modded it some. As for the 1.6 60' that sounds kinda quick but I think the 13.0 is possible but definitly pushing it. He would need that 1.6 to get his et down that low.

Possible? Yes. Probable? No. More like a 13.4-13.7 at 105ish...
