Clunking from rear end
On the way back to work from lunch I noticed that when I am in a gear (for instance, 3rd) and I take my foot off the pedal, then press the gas again I get a loud clunk from the rear of the car. Also, when accelerating into turns I get a repeated clunk.
I think it is the u-joint, but I could be mistaken.
Any ideas?

Welcome to your first broken gear (one of many).
Or you could have a busted spring (mine actually popped out of place - check at make sure they are all seated correctly or not broke). Or a broken/split mount
