4.56's/4.30
I am recently thinking about putting 4.56's and 4.30's just for shootout night maybe at the most two passes. I know! I know! I can screw up the rear end. but this is just a question about whether its possible to put a 4.30 or 4.56 on a stock 10 bolt. or do I have to get a different carrier or do I really absolutely have to got with a 12 bolt or 9 inch.

I think you can get gears that low for a 10 bolt, but why would you? You would be lucky if you even made it past the burn out box with gears that weak in a 10 bolt.

Get the 12 bolt or 9" or whatever first, then take the 10 bolt with huge gears and slicks to the track, and break it for ***** and giggles. That way you have your stronger rear when it's all over with
