Default Need help finding information on SS

I just bought a 2001 Camaro SS which is an SLP car. The previous owner does not have the original paperwork for the car, how can I find out what # car I have of all SLP cars made that year?
thanks !

I have heard you can call SLP a sponsor and give them your vin # and they will tell you.

If you fax them your VIN they will send you a nice printout with all sorts of info - inlcuding what dealer got it if it was a dealer order or private order, etc...

I think the last years that GM did the base model SS and SLP got the car for any Y2Y options... IIRC

Nope. Unfortunately every Camaro SS from 96-02 went to SLP as a Z28. I just don't see why Chevrolet couldn't have pulled that off themselves, but hey, what do I know

The odd thing about my car is I have the Y2Y rpo, yet I don't have any Y2Y options.

This is from Terry @ SLP:

"Yes, all of the SS's came through SLP. The Y2Y was a code used by
dealers to order more than the base package for the SS's. SLP converted all of the SS's, whether or not they got just the base package or more. If you
have any other questions, please feel free to contact me. Thank you."

You know, I thought I saw that logo somewhere and thought it was cool so I mimicked it... Sorry, if I had been paying attention I would have asked if it bothered you!

Just not the first thing that has been stolen from my sigs, like my avatars. I get pissed when I see other people have my crap and don't ask. I was going to copyright all my photoshop work, but I have people that want to change their stuff.
