I dont think any "true" 1LE's were made after 99. Only the SS's/Firehawks with the 1LE suspension after that - which aren't really 1LE cars as they don't have a RPO, just Y2Y with SLP options.

If it doesn't say 1LE on your door, then it's not a 1LE. Check out http://www.1le.net

The 1le option from SLP is a 1le car...it's just a SLP 1LE, not a GM 1LE.

And btw...our Firehawk with the SLP 1LE option does not have the GM code YSY...the camaro's might..but not our Formula. What is the Y2Y code supposed to stand for?

Y2Y was the RPO a dealer had to specify to order SLP options such as the 1LE suspension, Auburn rear, ect. I'm pretty sure even the Pontiac's used Y2Y, but I don't have a Firehawk at the computer to look if it's specified. I'll check into it...

A true 1LE car to me is no A/C, hardtop, cloth, and no power anything - just coming from my 3rd gen roots I guess
