new f-body, i need some modding help
I recently purchased a 1998 Firebird Formula. I want to make this thing a beast. Right now the only thing I really want to do is take the 0-60 from 5.3 to 4.6. After that is done I want my 1/4 mile to be in the 11s. Any suggestions? I' m still kind of new with cars but i've always wanted a f-body.

yeah if ur an automatic car get a stall. most guys seem to use a tci 3500 ssf and dont forget the tranny cooler! gears will help as said before and just get ur basic boltons. headers, intake, tb. maybe lose some weight! good luck!

Drag Radials are great at the drag strip but not the best in many street driving conditions. A torque convertor will give you a higher stall which is great for a launch on drag radials (not so great on the 10 bolt). Money will play a factor as well.
IMO I would start with gears and exhaust and intake and some good street tires. Also, do you have any Mods already?
