What 4 Gen model F Body was the Fastest
I know that the Magizines all test these cars, but what year did they get the best ET and MPH. I traped 13.2 stock and that was 98.

That is my choice as well
Though magazine wise I only know of a Popular Mechanics shoot out that had a 99' Formula do a 12.9 in the 1/4 and 4.9 in the 0 to 60.

Sorry I can't highlight the link to make it work, I am a computer knucklehead.

My buddy got one of those "Factory Freak" cars. It was an 01 Z28 M6 and the day after he bought it he took it to the track with NO modifications and it ran 12.89 at 110!!! He can REALLY drive also though, so that helps.

'01 or '02 M6 stripper Z28 must be the correct answer...M6, 3.42's, light weight, LS6 intake and whatnot gives it the edge IMO. But hey...WTF do I know about these LS1 cars.

Why the 1997 Camaro Z28 Six Speed ofcourse
Seriously though, excluding magazines, the two fastest F-bodies I have seen or heard of around my neck of the woods would be an 02 SS M6 (345 HP package) and an 02 Firehawk M6 (345 HP package). These are owned by Nharrison02SS and FIREHAWK#608 on this site. They both ran 13.3 @ 105 & 107 respectively BONE STOCK. Now mind you this is not the high twelves that we all hear about, but this is at Atlanta Dragway a track where LS1s run low 14s and high 13s.
Just my $0.02

How about the GMMG cars or the Dick Harrell edition 427
But that's kind of cheating
One of the fastest factory Corvettes was the Callaway Twin Turbo C4s, that's not cheating since it has a RPO code
