My New LS1, and my old T3t4 Probe GT
Ok. So I was fairly active in my ford probe - mazda MX6 forums, so now that I bought a 2002 Z28, I'd like to become a known member here too.
I thought you would all get a kick out of this. In college, I got a 1995 Probe GT, and to keep up with my friends turbo GSR, I created a rather unique car!
I had a forged engine built with JE Pistons, Pauter Rods, ARP bolts, nice copper gaskets, a T3T4e .63 a/r turbo, and a ton of other goodies. Unfortunatly, Dynamic Motorsports (not the DMS sponsor here) in Dillsburg PA royally suck, and they took almost 1 year to complete my car... should've taken 10 weeks. Yes.. 1 year, the engine they built blew up, and when they finally built it right, it was 1.5 years later. I sold the forged engine, and it never made it in the car. So, since I gave up on that worthless shop I put the turbo kit on a stock engine, running at 5.5 psi, making about 230whp (my goal was 300 on the built block). I beat a couple LT1's on the highway, WRX's, my roomates Mustang GT, and a lot of hondas
But, my friend I met at school had a WS6, and he killed me. So, whats this V8 thing I thought..
So, here's the probe pictures

After this car cost me body parts, I finally sold it on eBay. I got most of my money back, amazingly enough. I then proceeded to buy a Mustang GT, a 2003. While it was fun, I really wanted a LS1 after getting pwned by one in my probe. So, the stang went bye-bye after just a few months of owning it, and now, here is my 2002 Z28 at my friends house in Florida (im from CT)

My friends turbo GSR's engine blew up twice, and he finally sold it. I learned the hard way: there is NO REPLACEMENT for DISPLACEMENT... and.. start with a car made for power... it's much easier.
I look forward to modding with you all, so a hello to LS1tech!

Funny thing is, a buddy of mine who has a probe GT put over 8 thousand under the hood, paid 4 for the car, so for a total of 12 grand, ran a 12.9 @110 (haven't seen proof.. but still) Wow, that wasn't worth it, was it.... I'm so glad I got rid of it.
Well, my light saber on my desk is blue, so I guess that means im a part of the rebellion?
BTW, all dragon masters eat the filet-o-fish @ BK..
