Anyone ever ship a complete engine?

UPS wont ship anything over 150lbs. i think after 75 lbs they really start beating the hell out of it. you need to go thru a truck freight company like Old Dominion, AAA Cooper, or Yellow freight.
make sure you put it on a pallet so that nothing is hanging off the sides. make sure there is a nice gap all around the motor so that when they slide them into all the other **** in the trucks, it does not get beaten all to hell. i would wrap it in some cardboard so you will have at least SOME crumple zone on it, also stick on some fragile stickers or somthing.
