Default Ok to buy a used cam?

Anyone have any problems with a used cam? Is it better to just buy brand new and go from there?

I'd most definatly buy a used cam if it were the right specs. Just make sure you get pics or you know that the cam is in good condition. I sold my tsp 231/237 cam with <10,000 miles on it (looked new) for $250 so you can get some pretty good deals.

These roller-lifter motors don't put much wear on
the cam, unlike the old flat-tappet days. You just
want to know (somehow) that there is no bad wear
on the lobes.
