Should be high 12's, low 13's depending on altitude and conditions. Get a higher stall for your auto and you'll have mid 12's or so. Who knows on whether you will be faster than your friends Stang, more info needed on that car. Does he pull you now?

I used a 0-60 calculator based on my times and it said my 0-60 was 4.0 seconds. I highly doubt this, however 4.5 to 5 seconds would be reasonable. I run a few 12.9's and a lot of 13.0's with my setup. With DR's I could proly have seen a realistic 12.7-12.8. I spin pretty good on launch and pull 1.9 and 2.0 60' times. So based on numerous factors you should be able to get there. I have 3.23 gears and my Formy is pretty damn light compared to most F-bodies.

Listen, if his car is a 96 a bone stock LS1 will bust him and his supercharger. The 96-98 4.6 cars with the non PI heads are turds. Didnt you see Chucks 98 stang on Horsepwer TV only make 290hp to the wheels with Vortech supercharger and cooler and fuel system upgrade with all the bolt ons?
If he has a 95 or earlier it still probably will be a dead heat with a header and dual LS1.

We can sit here and speculate all day....but your car could run anywhere between a mid-13 to a 14 as it sits. Does he have a TC, gears? There are just too many factors that aren't known. The LS1 is not a guarantee winner in all races although some people think that having one is enough to take on the world. With that said, you will be in a good position to give him a hell of a run, but will it be enough? You'll have to let us know what happens. As for your gears, LS1 A4's came with 2.73's or 3.23's. You have to look on your driver side door for the code that will tell you which gears you have. That makes a slight difference as well.

Well just as a side note, with my mods in my signature, me and my buddy are pretty close. Hes got a '98 GT with 3.73s/locker, Vortech at 10lbs, 5 speed, and aftermarket cam or cams (?). Hes got a few bolt ons too but when we race its neck and neck.
