Default Which Spark Plugs????

Hello,
I have a 99 Z28 40k miles and soon I will be doing a tune up . I already bought msd wires , but I dont know which plugs to get. Any suggestions? What plugs came with these cars stock? I was thinking using AC Delco rapid fire, Iridium, or platnium. I have no clue which ones. My car is an everyday driver about 500 miles a week. I still want a plug that will give me some performance , but no problems done the road. Can u suggest a plug ?

Everyone here will say TR-55's. They're cheap but they are great spark plugs. You can pick em up anywhere.

I've tried to find them at Autozone and Advanced and both say they don't have a listing for the TR-55. Is there another part number for them?

You'll find that the NGK TR55 is a favorite here. TR6 for Forced Induction or Nitrous. If you want You can use the TR55 IX irridium plugs. I had them and they worked great. The Copper TR55's are great too.

Don't give out bad advice. I have AC Delco Iridiums, and they are excellent plugs. I can't see why they would "hold heat" any worse than any other plug.

NGK TR55ix they're pre gaped. Don't forget your anti-seize for the threads.

Almost all plugs are pre-gapped these days. Still good to check the gap before you put them in though. The only ones that you can't check are the multi tipped ones, like splitfires and Bosch Platinum 2's and 4's.
