start opening her up with a free flowing exhaust (yes i know that you don't have a muffler .. ) and intake.... Start there and work your way up.

Sick mileage for an 98. I would go ahead and change the fuel filter, get you a new lid, a nice muffler, and maybe some gears. That's a comfortable position to be in before you start thinking bigger (heads, cam, etc).

Nice milage. Post pics!

Fuel filter, stock-like PAPER air filter (not K&N or other foam), oil change... That's all I did. With only 45K, I doubt it's time for plugs/wires. Most use NGK's plugs. I use MSD wires cuase I have headers and can bend the one out of the way.

Lid is the first thing most people buy. You can buy them anywhere under most sponsors' "air induction" section. After that, it's either a cat back or an electric cut out in the I pipe (big pipe, right after Y pipe). Since you're already out a muffler, I'd get a cat back. GMMG is pretty well the undisputed best for sound, performace and looks, but it costs an insane amount. The SLP loudmouths are popular on here, but live up to their name. Anything but a Flowmaster; they kill power, I've read (but don't know from personal experience).

We don't know what tranny you have so can't make reccomendations there.
