Default Instructions of doing bump stop mod with volt-meter, not autotap?

I am looking for instructions on doing the bump stop mod measuring the voltage to get close to 90 degrees, 4.65v is what most recommend if I remember correctly. I know I just file down the stopper slowly to allow the blade to open more, but I do not know how I go about measuring the volt-readout that tells me how close I am to 90.

I read this:
https://ls1tech.com/forums/showthrea...hlight=writeup

But am getting a reading of 5.01V when the pedal is at WOT, however my car is stock, and I don't get any codes.

The 5V is power going into the TPS. Try the other wires. One's ground one the other is the one you need. It'll be under 1 V with the TB closed

It reads .70 when closed, and goes up to 5.02V when open.
