Default Boring a nitro daves plate?

Is it possible to take my 70(?)mm nitro daves plate and have it machined to a 92mm? I kinda assumed the deals were the same just bored to different diameters?

Any aid or suggestions would be appreciated. Just sucks to sell it and go buying another one. I know it would just end up me getting another one out of pocket in the end. I cant really see it being really different.

Why would you even risk screwing up and expensive part like that? (unless you have access to a milling machine) the plate size is physically different and the bolt pattern.

What part of my question made it sound like this was a diy quick job and i wasnt going to be using a milling machine?

Thanks for the response nitro dave. I figured there could be a possibility it would work. Guess not..

No problem. If it were taking a 90 and boring it to a 92 or something like that it would be doable. But the bolt pattern kills your hope right off the bat.
