Default i need help with a leak

I tried putting my purge kit but it keeps on leaking from the fitting tha goes to the purge solenoid i put teflon paste but it keeps on leaking.I know you shouln't put teflon tape but i am thinking of doing it its already getting me mad i took it off like 3 times and it still leaks.Is there anything else I can put so it can stop leaking?

Is it stripped? I would try thread thread sealant

I dont think its stripped it screws in and out perffect

Try some of that thread sealant i posted a link for. Your local parts store should store it. It works great, just don't go crazy with it.

cool i will buy it in morning I guess i was using some cheap stuff ACE teflon paste.

No problem, Get rid of all your teflon tape and stock up on that stuff, I have used it numerous times with success.

I use Loctight on all of my fittings, the blue stuff. It seals immediately and works wonders. Teflon paste is great for perfect threads as it's more designed towards non galling then an absolute sealer when you have a nic in the threads. the loctight will fill the nic right up and instantly seal and won't blow out like the paste will and does.

I also use Loc-tite on most my fittings.
Make sure its the fittings leaking and not the solenoids piston let nitrous seep by.
