Default plug gap on tr6's in a 408 with spray

plug gap on tr6's in a 408 with spray 11.0-11.5 compression going up as high as a 200 shot this year.. so what should i gap them at already hit them with a 100 shot stock out the box i belive but dont remember what they were at.... so where should i start

Out of the box they are around ~35-38

A healthy 408 should have TR6's on motor and should get colder as you spray more N20.

I would use a TR8 for a 200 shot.

My 396 and 400 shot we use TR11's

how bad will i will the plugs get with limited street driving?

I would drive it on 6's or 7's and spray it on 8's or 9's at a minimum. guys around here are afraid of 10's and 11's but we use them regularly.

They would be fine if your tune is good. they will foul faster if your using leaded fuel then let the car sit alot. We can run all day pull it in and out of the trailor on a set of 11's buit if we let it idle then let the car sit for a week or 2 the plugs will be ****.

Plugs are cheep change them often. get you a set of 7's drive on them then just chanfge them when your gona spray.

also i noticed when i had my water injection kit it kept the plugs cleaner. made them last way longer driving and racing.

hmmmm. i guess i need to maybe drop down a heat range atleast then.i'm running a tr7 iridium on a 175 rw hit on my 408.
