Torque Converter for TNT dual nozzle system
Hi, my car has a 346ci LS1 engine with a pg tranny(th400 imput shaft), my 4500 fuddle tc seems to be slipping too much and its not letting me have a 10 sec decent run, I've been running 11 really low (11.01 11.02......)
Which tc would you recommend me? The car is not a street car, I just drive it to the track.

Def check with sponsors like Circle-D and Yank as they have some of the best converters out there. If your blowing thru it, then it def should be changed. I was researching for a TH400 and was recommended a smaller converter, I want to say 9" vs a 8" as the smaller one was ideal for N.A. runs but when the shot would be put to it, it would blow through it.
I know fuddle came on the scene a few yrs ago but seems like they have fallen out of favor, check with the two companies I mentioned and you may not even have to go to a larger diameter 'verter.

Ultimate converter concepts built the converter that's in my car. Been performing very well for me, and it worked great when Eastside used it to go 8.2x.
Look them up, if you want something that's gonna work like it should, they can build what you need.
Circle D would be my choice if you're going to stick with a sponsor on here.

You need to call a company and have them build you a custom converter. You'll probably blow through the vig. I wouldn't be looking at an off the shelf unit. Yeah, you could probably get away with one, but a custom job is gonna be a night and day difference over the shelf unit.
