Default Window Switch Problem

I just installed an MSD window switch for my N2O. Only problem is I'm getting a constant ground on the output (yellow wire) side. I double checked my tach wire ...it's connected to #35 (white - 1998). Do I have a bad window switch? Do they go bad? I'm getting constant ground even with the pills out. ?!?!?!?

I'm new to nitrous but I did just put an MSD window switch into my setup. Did you cut the 2 wire loops to put it in 4 cylinder mode? They need to be cut to read the tach signal. If you did that and you're sure you have the wiring right you may need to send the box to MSD to get it converted from 12v square wave to 5v. MSD says you need to do this to get the box to work with our computers and avoid damaging the PCM but most people around here haven't had to do that.

Thanks Ken

I'll have to look into it some more. I picked it up used from a guy who had it on an LT1. I'll go back over the weekend and double check the wiring.

I thought the 98's used wire number 13 versus the rest using number 10...?

I think #35 is correct for 1998 (#10 for 99+). This is a diagram someone else posted here:

This is the wiring scheme I used:

Your diagram looks good but, I need a magnifying glass to read it. Am I cutting both the red and the blue loops?
