Default Is she ready to spray?

Everyone, I believe my car is ready to see it first swallowing of some nitrous. I have a wet plate kit with 100hp jets in on a stock fuel pump. Got a gauge on the the rail measuring around 58 to 60psi at idle. Got a window switch hooked up to engage at 3k and disengage at 6k rpms. Got some timing pulled out, as well as changed plugs to some colder ones. The only thing my car doesnt have is a fuel pressure safety switch. Do some people not even use them? I hear they can cause problems. If only this weather would clear up. Thanks for the advice.

I don't use one. Kb boost a pump and stock pump. Been spraying over a year with no issues. Guess they could be smart to have.

Default FPS Switches don't cause problems

FPS Switches don't cause problems, they catch them. As long as they're installed to spec, at least twelve inches away from the solenoid(if installed too close, it will cause chatter in the safety switch)

I never used one. They are a good safety devise if it is functioning properly. I think you are ready to hit it. What plugs did you go with?

Get a microedge! It's all the safety devices combined in one piece of electronics, state of the art for the nitrous world imo...

I went with tr6's, yea I know, they were installed before this non projected plug mishap started. I talked to a lot of people, they all said when running a 100shot I'll be okay with a projected plug.

I ran them on a 150 shot with no issues. Alot of experienced nitrous guys on here will tell you to stay away from them.

There are a lot of people that hate the FPSS's, but IMO they are a nice safety feature to have. They can be a pain in the *** if they aren't adjusted properly but once they are set correct it's like it isn't even there until you have a fueling issue.

$50 to potentially save a motor is money well spent IMO.

I run one and have never had a problem out of mine.

What a lot of people don't realize is that a a/f shutdown will catch quite a few scenarios that a fpss will not. Fuel solenoid failure being one of them.
